Curly & Beautiful in Milan — A Day Built Around the Curl

Today in Milan I had the pleasure of leading another edition of Curly & Beautiful, the Framesi training day dedicated entirely to curly hair professionals.

Fifteen hairstylists in the room. One subject: the curl — in all its forms, its challenges, and its potential.

The day focused on two areas that I believe are inseparable when it comes to curly hair: cutting and styling. Not as two separate steps, but as a single conversation with the hair. The cut defines the shape and respects the shrinkage. The styling builds the definition, controls the volume, and delivers a result that the client can actually recreate at home.

What I always find in these rooms is the same thing: professionals who already have good instincts, but who are looking for a clearer method. A way to read the curl before touching it, to make decisions with confidence, and to explain those decisions to the client sitting in the chair.

That is what Curly & Beautiful is for.
