There's something special about getting together with colleagues, in front of a mannequin head and a bowl of bleach, to share techniques, questions, and that curiosity that drives us every day to grow. The Deco Lab training day hosted by DShop Drago in Rivoli (Turin) was exactly this: one of those occasions when training stops being a duty and becomes a pleasure.
Working alongside me today was Michela Fava, Framesi personal colorist, a professional who brings to every session the technical precision and sensitivity that only those who live color every day can convey. Working with her means speaking the same language: respect for the hair, attention to detail, and the constant drive to find the cleanest possible solution.
The star: Framesi's Decolor B line.
The heart of the day was Framesi's Decolor B line, a range of bleaching products designed to offer the professional control, performance, and respect for the hair fiber. Together we went through its features, processing times, dosages, and the ideal combinations depending on the result you want to achieve — because knowing the product inside out is the first step to truly making the most of it.
Two techniques, two approaches
The hands-on part was built around two bleaching and toning techniques, chosen to show how the same product can express itself in different ways depending on the approach.
The foil technique, perfect for those looking for a clean, controlled, high-contrast result, with precise placement and even product distribution.
The freehand technique, more creative and tailor-made, designed to build light in a natural way, shaping the lightening around the haircut and the starting canvas.
For both, we also worked on the toning phase, because that's where the final result really takes on its personality: bleaching opens the door, but it's the tone that tells the client's story.
Thank you
A sincere thank you goes to everyone at DShop Drago for the warm welcome, the flawless organization, and the energy they bring to every event — running a training day in a setting like that really is something else. And thank you to the participants, to the colleagues who chose to spend a day with us: your attention, your questions, and the conversations in the room are what make training come alive.
See you at the next Deco Lab.
