From Warm Blonde to Icy Blonde: My Framesi Step-by-Step Formula

In this post I’m sharing how I took this hair from a warm, uneven blonde to a clean, luminous icy blonde, while keeping the hair structure protected throughout the service.

Starting point

The base was a warm blonde with visible yellow/golden tones and some unevenness through the lengths. The goal was to create a brighter, cooler, more polished result with improved uniformity and shine.

1) Lightening (with maximum protection)

To lift and refine the canvas, I used Framesi Decolor B Cream, combined with the complete Pro-Force bond protection system:

  • Pro-Force Bonder 101 during the lightening step to help protect and reinforce the hair fiber while lifting.

  • Pro-Force Sealer 102 after rinsing to rebalance and help seal the cuticle, leaving the hair smoother and more compact before toning.

2) Toning for a clean icy finish

Once I achieved the desired level, I toned on towel-dried hair using only Framesi products.

Toner formula (Framcolor Glamour):

  • 10.61

  • 10.16

  • 10.626

Mixing: 1:1 with 10 vol developer

Processing time: 20 minutes

This blend neutralizes remaining warmth and delivers a crisp, refined icy blonde with a soft, modern reflect.

3) Root shadow for depth and dimension

To elevate the final result and add more depth and tridimensionality, I created a subtle root shadow using:

  • 9.16 at the root area

This step gives the color a richer look, enhances contrast, and creates a more natural transition into the lighter mid-lengths and ends.

Final result

A brighter, cleaner blonde with an icy tonal direction, better evenness, and a refined finish—plus extra depth at the root for a more dimensional, high-end look.
